Organizatorzy The Game Awards 2015 ogłosili listę nominacji. Do zdobycia są statuetki w 16 nominacjach Jury oraz 6 kategoriach Fanów. Wśród nich jest oczywiście Gra Roku czy Developer Roku, a także m.in. Najlepsze RPG, Najlepsze gry niezależne czy Najlepsza dyrekcja artystyczna. Rozdanie odbędzie się 3 grudnia w Los Angeles.
